The band Nonpoint has been together since 1997, and three of the four original members are still very much in love with the fact that they play music together. The song Frontlines is inspired by all of the military soldiers that are out on the “frontlines” fighting for not only their own lives but for the freedom that so many people get to enjoy thanks to them. Nonpoint realized that one of the issues that soldiers are experiencing is that, while they are away people want to support and encourage them but when they get back home; they are often expected to just pick up where they left off. Very rarely do people recognize that there are emotional tolls that begin to be taken on these soldiers lives.

The video for Frontlines shows a solider that has returned home from the war and has had trouble separating what he saw and did while he was away from the loving home that he has returned to. He became so used to protecting and saving others that he felt the need to continue to do so when he returned home, there are also shots of the band in a national or military cemetery. Nonpoint’s lead singer Elias Soriano wanted to remind everyone of the bravery that the men and women of the military have to have in order to do the job. Nonpoint is also donating proceeds of the digital single sales of “Frontlines” to the USO and Soldier’s Angels foundations
